Description

Was 10c before holds broke off

This is another short climb at the end of the pipeline. Crux is figuring out the sequence below the buldge using a really small gaston and a pretty crappy pinchy sloper.

Location

Second to last route in the pipeline area. Shares chains with poop chute.

Protection

3 or 4 draws to chains anchors

I figured there must have been a missing hold because this was not 10c. Hard boulder problem to pull the bulge. Sep 7, 2010

Went out right to a bad sidepull/undercling and up to a slopey cobble below the sweet sidepull and this sequence felt harder than anything on honeybucket. Sep 11, 2016

Am I crazy? I tried everything I could think of to knock the grade down on this. The sequence I eventually used to send felt maybe V4-5? It's nowhere near 11a. Sep 17, 2017

The easiest way for me was pulling to right hand Gaston then bumping left until I was over the lip. My wife could not reach this way and her sequence was 12b ish. I think a split grade may be in order. Jul 21, 2018
