The crux slaps you in the face at the fourth bolt.

This is the fifth route on the current topo. This is the first vertical route right of the cave proper.

Reachy crux. Best route in the area. Aug 29, 2010

Very crimpy, very reachy, very long ride if you don't stick the rail. Sandbagged. Jun 13, 2011

Pretty fun route, the crux is definitely thin and hard, maybe a little reachy as well. Once you punch through that, you're rewarded with some pretty sweet climbing up and through the upper headwall to the chains. Jul 24, 2013

A fantastic climb, this is the route of Lime Creek. Really nice, colorful rock on this. The climb has a great rhythm to it. Fire through a burly, reachy boulder problem on perfect crimps to a good rest. Then you have a section of exciting powerful climbing to the anchors. I think calling this 12b is a sandbag for Lime Creek. 12+ felt more like it to me. If you're very tall and strong on crimps, it could feel easier. Jul 16, 2014
Yup, sandbagged :) 12+....unless you are a wicked crimp wizard, which I am not. Sep 2, 2016

Best mid-12 at Lime Creek. Cool series of boulder problems punctuated by a good rest. Sep 17, 2017

I'm not one to undercut grades, but this felt 12b for me. Ridiculously good route! Jul 6, 2018

Fun climbing on beautiful rock. The horizontal break slightly detracts from an otherwise outstanding route. Jul 9, 2018

Excellent route! Don’t know about the grade being harder than 12a/b only because the 12b on the prow felt way harder - but different style. Wouldn’t want to blow the crux moves before hitting that shelf though! Good sitting rest to admire the tree behind you halfway up. Aug 15, 2018
