This rock is found at the base of Schoolhouse rock, near the road. It can be easily top roped using existing bolts or lead as a practice trad route for beginners. It is basically just a clean granite hand/fist crack.

A few hexes or cams should protect this nicely. There are also 3 bolts at the top.

Great place for kids and adults learning to be comfortable on outside rock. Also a great place for first-timers to practice trad.

Lately we've seen (several times now) so-called "tiger parents" who are aggressive about the anchors, of which there are three. There is plenty of rock for everyone, but sometimes you need to wait for a group to finish. Take a breath, relax, bring a camping chair, and enjoy being there with your kids. Please don't start fights with other parents because you can't wait your turn. And please do not touch anchors you did not set up yourself. Take a cue from your kids and remember what they taught you in kindergarten: "wait your turn". Sep 9, 2018
