Occupied Campsite Rule In Effect! Details

Description

This is the prominent dike visible on the first rock when looking south from Belle Campground. This route is a lot of fun - sequency at the start with the crux at the second bolt where you must overcome a bulge.

Protection

2 bolts with a 2 bolt anchor/rap

Don't agree with the R rating, though the start is bouldery. It doesn't have any more bolts than necessary though. Mar 18, 2016

Fun & short, perhaps a good "post-lunch-my-stomach-is-still-swimming-with-chips-and-salsa-goodness" route. Anything longer or more sustained would have been a sure-fire vomit-elucidator. Instead it was just a tasty burp (Trader Joe's salsa is soooo good!) upon topping out. Practice your right hand pinch. Jun 22, 2004

While not a total pile this is short and not especially memorable. Save it for when you've done all the routes on Castle Rock. One star (maybe) out of five. Feb 10, 2004
