Heading up the steep crack section to the gear belay just below the Dappled Mare crossover--ignoring the tempting but inadvisable retro-anchor at the midpoint of the pitch.

Passing on the retro-bolted "anchors" in favor of trad anchors at a more logical point on the route--just before the Dappled Mare crossover.
