There are two options for Pitch 1 of The Howling: the left crack system or the right.

Was at Needles climbing 5-27. Took photos of your summit around 5 pm. Didn't see you at the notch. Hoping to get these epic shots to you. Good send follow climber!

The original line goes up the left crack system while the variation goes up the splitter crack about 30 feet to the right.

There are two ways to do the first pitch of The Howling: either the crack system on the left that the climber is rappelling in the photo or the splitter on the right.
