Climbing + AI? We Want Your Thoughts!
|
|
We’re developing an intelligent training app designed specifically for climbers. The app acts as your personal climbing coach, using AI to build tailored training plans based on your experience, goals, and feedback. Unlike traditional training apps you get a highly personalised AI coach available 24/7, the app can adapt in real time. Whether you're feeling tired, injured, or preparing for a big trip. You’ll be able to check your plan, chat with your AI coach and adjust sessions whenever you need, all from your phone. We would love to hear your thoughts! This short survey will help us understand what climbers actually want from a modern training tool and ensure we're building something that truly supports you on and off the wall. Please follow the link to a 2 min survey below. |

I would like to load every product designer and developer who insists on adding AI garbage into everything into a rocket and shoot it into the sun. |

I am morbidly curious what data this AI model is or will be trained on... |

An actual use case: AI creates GPX'es from the myriad written directions on MP pages. Then it will be verified by AI (Actually Indians). Accepting AI (Angel Investors) now. |

Just what I need, an excuse to change my training plan away from something being custom tailored towards meeting my goals and towards something that removes all accountability for me working hard at my weaknesses/things I don’t enjoy out of the equation. Ah who am I kidding, I never train anyways! Edit: shitpost aside, why on earth are you asking for full names, and why on earth would you be asking people to nebulously categorize their climbing experience. Unless you’re just a marketer who doesn’t climb, you’d recognize there’s significantly better ways to both describe your target demographics, as well as have them self describe, that’s significantly more objective |

I'm as averse to AI solutionism as anyone. But I will say, if this thing could actually give me tips on things I, as a non weightlifter, could do as supplemental and PT style injury prevention, specific to my complaints about how my body feels, I would probably try it. If it requires me to make annoying accounts, link to any other profile of any kind, etc. data gathering nonsense, I will not use it on principle. |
