Rolling into camp on the 6th and my climbing partner doesn’t fly in until late on the 8th. Single pitch/multipitch/trad/sport/you name it.

Do you still need a partner? My friends bailed and I want to climb. Would you be interested in climbing the original route on Sunday?

Any interest in sunny and steep wall on Friday?

As a heads up it rained hard last night in the park. I'd be very cautious about climbing on sandstone this weekend unless you're doing something with full sun.

Thanks for the heads up Elliot!!

No worries, I'm personally going to be watching the forecast and doing some local limestone stuff on Saturday. Sunday should be alright on sunny walls as long as we don't get any more precipitation.

Full on blizzard here right now! Sandstone might be out for the weekend. What limstone areas would you recommend? I'm new to the area

Crustacean Crag: taller climbs with really high quality and a long enough approach there shouldn't be crowds.

Rodeo Wall: right in front of Crustacean with some solid climbs that are defined by an interesting roof.

Cheap Beer: a bit grungy but a couple of really good lines in the 10+ range.

Urban Crag: really grungy but Mega Poser and whatever that one 11 is called are actually really quality IMO

Lake Mead Buttress: more of a multipitch stop but Contagion and Patient Zero are really really good.

There are a couple other crags nearby that aren't on MP and I won't link but if you're driving to the crustacean parking and see people at a wall, that's probably me and my friends.

There's also the stuff at Blue Diamond Cave. Potosi is going to be too cold and probably snowy, Charleston is under like a foot and a half of snow.

Earlier today. It was worse at times. Howling windy.
