Mustard or ketchup?
| | Okay you’re on a climbing trip and spending two weeks at a climbing destination but you’ve only got enough money left for mustard or ketchup. What do you choose? Don’t make it complicated it can be any mustard or ketchup. |
| | Mustard |
| | Ketchup. I feel like there are more things that ketchup is socially acceptable to put on than mustard. |
| | Most definitely ketchup.   It’s a well rounded condiment and delicious on everything from scrambled eggs to fancy French fries.   |
| | Catsup hands down! Mustard is meat only. (For my tastes) |
| | Joseph Shmoesfwrote: Not true!!! Mustard goes very well with certain cheeses, gerkins, and don't forget about pretzels!!! |
| | Mustard makes a fantastic base for homemade salad dressing. Some mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper? Maybe some paprika? Baby you got a stew goin. |
| | Mayo. |
| | Alan Rubinwrote: I said what I said. I don’t even use mustard as an emulsion base for salad dressings at home. |
| | Ketchup - actually has calories in it, can be useful. It’s also better |
| | Homies are literally insane. When's the last time you used ketchup in a good sauce?? Mustard obviously. |
| | Ketchup is a child’s condiment. If your climbing destination is the jungle gym, then get yourself some ketchup. Otherwise, mustard 4 lyfe. |
| | Ok, the answer is mustard. Now the deeper question is what sort of person writes Catsup over Ketchup ? |
| | Mustard takes the lead but the other condiment is catching up! Some unexpected levels of sophistication |
| | Tim A-Cwrote: If we're limited to funds for one condiment, I doubt good sauces are on the menu. Also, the right answer is peanut butter |
| | Mustard |
| | Ranch |
| | Colonel Mustardwrote: I really would have loved to see your answer be anything but your namesake |
| | I’d say next time you go to the gas station, grab a handful of packets of each in the deli. Then spend your condiment budget on a store-brand sriracha knockoff… |
| | bearded samwrote: You’re right, I totally caved to the pressure exerted by my surname. Sriracha mayo is a pretty important food group in my life. |
| | Doesn't Mustard have anti-inflammatory properties? And Ketchup, being made of tomatoes, have inflammatory properties? |
