Riffing off the other 50 thread. What are the 50 most instagrammable climbs achievable by a gymbro/gal who goes outside a few times a year?

Rules:

1) No more 20 minutes from the road (and no hustling)

2) Can be Trad, sport, or boulder

3) Nothing PG13/R

4) No harder than extremely soft 12a

5) Looks great in photos

I would say the angler but it might not match point (4) since its the hardest v2 in the world

Even if you were a noodle and gave it V4, it would still qualify. Therefore, I second your notion.

I thought 5.12 was just a bunch of v1s stacked on top of each other??

Big Bad Wolf for sure.  I can't imagine how many posts there are on IG of people on that topout ledge saying they just did their first multipitch.  I also don't think any other route here has to get the hangers of the first few bolts removed fairly often to keep people off it after heavy rain because it's such a junkshow.

Also, this thread should be renamed to '50 classic climbs to avoid'

They qualify, if for no other reason than out of principle.

Ironically, this is also what most people refer to the original. The “fifty (classic) crowded climbs”

Its PG13 but the edge of time

The Angler, because the climbing on it is awful, should be the first to qualify.

Bershears crack

Monkey bar traverse

Anything at Chuckwalla wall

Circus in the Wind

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
