Harrer-White Spider, Davis-High Infatuation & Learning to Fly, recently read Touching the Void - was awesome. Any book from Alex Huber is great too but I only found “Mountain Within” in English so far. Tom Dauer’s book about Kurt Albert is also amazing but hasn’t been translated into English yet.

The Emerald Mile made we want to sell my rack and buy a dory. Really a great book.
The Last Blue Mountain by Ralph Barker is one of the first climbing books I ever read, I thought it was very good.

If you are interested in  climbing-adjacent fiction, a climbing partner of mine wrote a murder-mystery adventure tale that is pretty entertaining:

Ten Sleep by C.W. Smith.

You can find it on Amazon.  Fast paced, set in lots of climbing areas in the west.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
