Brent Kellywrote: Challenge accepted. I still have three epees, but I'll need to borrow some stuff: all my soft goods rotted and I threw out my mask because I'm sure it wouldn't pass the punch test any more. My last competitive bout was at an Olympic festival in Mexico City in 1992 - we were invited as the 'Texas National Team' and we competed against the South American Olympic teams. Sweep rowing and sculling—which has really eaten into my rock climbing time for the last 5 years. Colorado is a pretty great place to row, despite small reservoirs and short-ish seasons. |

Way too many hobbies. Probably only 2 I would consider give me the similar type of satisfaction as climbing. *Skiing/snowboarding *Surfing |

Poker tournaments. It is like a big king of the hill contest. Last man standing has all the chips and gets the lion share of $. Uses many parallels as climbing. Situational awareness, selective aggression, patience, etc. etc. |

I learned fencing at Grapevine Fencing Center, now Gold Blade Fencing Center, in Grapevine/Southlake, DFW Texas. Eager to learn more about the “Texas National Team”! |
