Other Hobbies of Climbing Fanatics?
|
This is not related at all to training but I wanted to ask people who were obsessed about climbing a question and this seemed like the right place to do it. What are your other hobbies? Anything - Does not have to be climbing related or even a physical hobby. I often wish I had something else in my life I enjoyed as much as climbing that I could do at any moment Just to get the ball rolling; my other main hobbies would be experiencing live music, programming and biking - but none give me the same satisfaction that climbing does. |

I spend a whole lot of my time playing music. I play a bunch of instruments... in the past folks mostly paid me to play upright bass, though I've played a lot of blues/jazz piano and pedal steel. At the moment I am playing keys and singing in a band that does a lot of jam band favorites (I'm not really into Phish, but I've played my share)... I'm mostly stoked that we've spent the last two months working out Dark Side of the Moon front to back... super fun to play the synth parts and sing the tunes. |
