No way! I grew up in Pittsburgh.  That’s really McConnell’s Mill?

Yep, that view is pretty recognizable.

Numerous formations, such as the Shield or Pino wall are featured in Lone Survivor, which was filmed in New Mexico, and features background scenes of the Sandia mountains which contains the routes.

There's a scene in Swordfish where a guy is fly fishing in the crooked river at smith rock. Title card says "Bend Oregon".

There's a random shot of Smith in True Grit about halfway thru.  The one with John Wayne.  Lasts about a second.  Shot when there were still large pine trees down by the Crooked River, which I believe burned up shortly after 1970.

The movie The Stalking Moon with Gregory Peck has some great shots of Mescalito in Red Rock in it. I can make out the line of Cookie Monster

Not to be overly nitpicky, but she's not actually on High E.

As she's coming up to the High E ledge, she's actually on the easy section that finishes Directissima. It would be easy to top out the first pitch of High E this way by traversing right, but I don't think that's how most people do it.

When she tops out the very top of the cliff, she's

At one of the infamous high e keg parties (1980?) a guy did those moves and was about to pop onto the ledge and almost fell over backwards when we handed him a mug of beer, seems he wasn’t expecting a dozen or so folks and a keg

Kramer was apparently climbing off widths that day from the looks of the tie in knot.

Edit- after rereading the original post I see this one doesn’t count as it was obviously featured.

Showing my age here, but I can think of a number of them---climbing locales more than specific routes, maybe. Scenes from Deliverance were filmed in Tallulah Gorge in Georgia and some in Lawrence of Arabia were shot in Wadi Rum, Jordan. Then there is Rick Sylvester ski-chutting off Mt. Asgard, as a stunt double in the opening sequence of one of the Bond films. Malibu Creek Canyon was the setting for several scenes in the Planet of the Apes, as I think it was for other shows--the benefit of being located close to Hollywood.  Some of Pride and Prejudice, the version starring Keira Knightly, was shot at Stanage Edge in the UK. Of course, Devil's Tower had sort of a starring role in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. There are others, but that is what I can come up with right now.

Come on!!!!...no ones mentioned Yosemite yet, Maverick with Mel Gibson, Jodie Foster, old guy from the notebook (James Garner). There's a great scene where Mel runs off with the Native Americans and they're sitting out in the meadow below Sentinel I believe.

I just finished watching Manhunt Deadly Games on Netflix.  Highly recommended.

I noticed what appeared to be some rock routes in the show. It was supposed to take place in Nantahal Wilderness in N. Carolina. Does anyone recognize this boulder, and corresponding cave? Further more, has anyone caught routes in other shows or movies, that didn’t mean to feature them?
