Oskar Blues Can-o-bliss IPA in the blue can. The absolute best.

Pfriem IPA is good.

Avery IPA and/or Avery Hazyish IPA

Any Fort George's IPAs except Vortex, which is meh.

In the dog days of summer, Sierra Nevada's Otra Vez (I think it's a Gose)

Consider anything by the breweries that sponsor your local climbing events.  Those are the ones giving back to climbing.
IE: I organized shows & trail work days around Boulder, and the only question Avery ever seems to ask about the free beer they send is how much do I think that the patrons might possibly drink.
On my watch alone, we've collected about $7k this year in donations at the beer tables for the LCO's.
Naturally, I prefer to buy their products when I am in line to pay at the store.

I hope that this becomes part of the equation when climbers are checking out beer, shoes, ropes, etc...

I used to like drinking IPAs and Pale Ales - Surly Overrated, New Glarus Moon Man, Odell Drumroll, Toppling Goliath PseudoSue, Summit Saga, Bell’s Two Hearted, Fair State Pahlay, etc.

My palate changed a few years ago and now I mostly drink pale lagers, preferably a crisp, hoppy pils. Not an IPL though, as I prefer continental European hops over fruity American hops in a pale lager.

My favorite sending suds are:
Fair State Pils (disclaimer - I work there) and Surly Hell (kinda hop forward for a helles) are my go-tos. Surly #Merica (discontinued) was also incredible. Sierra Nevada Sierraveza. Firestone Walker Pivo Pils (if I can find a fresh enough 6pk here in MN). New Glarus Spotted Cow is good for WI climbing, although I prefer something a bit more crispy with bigger hop aroma and bitterness. Fair State just released an American adjunct lager (collaboration with Modern Times out of San Diego) called Crankin’ Foamers in 12pk/12oz cans. Perfect for crushing.

I also really like Hefeweizens, Witbiers, and Saisons. Definitely has to be in a can.

I absolutely hate most kettle sours, but I wish I didn’t. Pretty damn refreshing.

f loyd this is righteous good stuff. you should try Thor's Equinox by Odin Brewery. Not a huge fan of their other beers, but the Thor is great.

Ice cold delirium tremens on a summer day, but I must say, theres nothing more comforting than a hearty stout in the local pub of a mountain town

Whenever the holy grail of all wonderful IPA brews has been found and acquired.....I highly enjoy a Pliny the Elder or Blind Pig IPA from Russian River Brewing after climbing. Otherwise, It's a Stone Delicious IPA or PBR.

I used to love Dale's, but then began to find it....average.  It's been a while. Time to give it another try.
