If these townships are getting money for their service rather than people dumping and running they can manage their waste much more effectively.
Not sure what your point is in relation to my post. My original statement was about those that don't want to pay taxes and vilify socialism, but expect entities that rely on taxes to for the betterment of the whole (socialism) to dispose of their trash without money (taxes).
Edit to respond to below since blocked: Then you were disagreeing with something I didn't do. I never classified the reserve or park as a small entity, rather I responded to the issue of dumping in small municipalities, which is the issue being discussed.

You have no idea how close we were to the elimination of all camping at Indian Creek because of trash issues. Yes, a somewhat different situation there because of the private ranch that is intimately intertwined with BLM land and the climbing areas, but related enough that the overall issue is a valid concern.

I was disagreeing with your classifying this as small entities with a small tax base issue. It’s a federally funded reserve (COR) and it seems to me that we shouldn’t have to increase taxes on a national level to provide garbage service in our national lands, we just have to put money we already pay where it belongs. Not show of force military parades that no one wants. (Which we both agreed on)

Speaking of BLM, did anyone see who is now in charge??? A guy that thinks we should sell off all public lands, that the government is at war with western states.

What's more, selling them off to the extractive, fossil fuel , dying industries (except for uranium and other rare earths).
