None of you have a clue. The fact that this thread has gone two full pages with no mention of Peter Croft is pure blasphemy. Croft has it, hands down. |

Firm mind and sh*t together? Check. But I'm not aware of his exploits beyond amazing free soloing. What makes him all-around? Great vintage photos in your other thread, by the way. |

Come on, he's Peter Croft, what other justification do you need? |
Ueli Steck, |
Tommy Caldwell is best "all-around" climber. |
Climbing friend, |

Kor still gets my vote. And Croft, too. Aside from the crazy solos - not so crazy, if you've ever listened to him - there's Excellent Adventure. No aid, though, so back to Bridwell and Kor. |

Lynn Hill, |
Tucker Tec! |
Tommy Caldwell cheated though he cut off a finger to save weight while climbing. |
lol. I didn't even know he sport climbs that hard...holy crap. Yeah, I'd go with Tommy C. Michael, he may not score very well on "motherhood," but from all reports he's a pretty rockin' father. |
Hermann Buhl gets my vote. |
Aleks or Tommy. |
U. Steck or Alex Huber. |
my vote goes to dreamingofgnar.files.wordpr… |
Barrett Pauer |
ill bite on this impossible question- for me, it always goes to Carolynn Marie "Lynn" Hill. |

Flyin Brian McCray. R.I.P.- climbed 5.14 and A5 and put up big mountain routes in Alaska. Developed extensively. Put up thousands of routes. And most importantly super humble! |

Aleks Zebastian. His relentless crushing grip and his diagnosis of Flashington's Disease make him the undisputed master. |
