Climbed the Fang in Provo Canyon, top pillar pretty wet. Fun climbing on bullet hard cauliflower next to it.

Drove through Echo Canyon today. Lots of obscure ice forming all over the conglomerate walls.

Howdy, I'm 99% certain I l drove off with my copy of Beehive Ice on the roof of my car at Nun's Park in Provo after climbing on Tuesday afternoon. If you happen to find it, please let me know. Beer, gratitude, a belay, or whatever suits you for its return. I climb at the Front frequently. Thanks, Matt.

I would like to go climb the Willard Canyon Falls. I was up there two weeks ago and it was just slush on rock. How is it, anyone know? What condition is the GWI in?

I climbed the scruffy band yesterday, kinda spicy towards the end. Also I think I left my rope tarp up at the base,if anyone finds it I would love to get it.

Brian, question: it is ok to park below the no parking signs on the right-hand pullout, correct? Is there just an issue with people parking right next to the powerplant?

Correct, park down canyon of the signage on the uphill side of the canyon and not by the power plant. One can easily cross the creek by the down canyon parking so no need to go any where near the power plant. Also when parking leave room for people back down canyon and into traffic. Because of the narrow pullout and plowing it is often difficult pull out going uphill. Also, for safety once into traffic drive up canyon and pull a U-turn at Perpetual Storage.

Thanks Allen, just wanted to make sure I wasn't parking anywhere illegal haha. Maples is looking good, I may have some updates from the Southern Wasatch tomorrow. It seems that the ice is coming in well in all of Utah, I've been hearing optimistic stuff about the desert too...and Matt, I was down in Provo Friday, didn't see a book anywhere, sorry. It might have blown away, it was windy. But most everything is looking pretty solid frozen down there, the North side stuff looks like it's coming back in fat.
