I'm a local Fallbrook climber and I'm looking for some information about rock mountain. I love to climb out there and see that there are new routes but no one knows anything about them. Send me a private message or give me a call @ 760-305-3355 if you know anything.

We had our car broken into out there a few years back. The sherriff filed a report and told us it was pretty common there, and even more common at the hiking trailhead nearby. Haven't been back since. Ask your folks what they know about the various crimes over the decades in De Luz Canyon.
I hope you continue to have better luck than we had.

What's with the chipped routes.........not welcome....Fallbrook is my hometown, and we climbed on Rock Mountain since the early 70s......manufactured climbs w/chipped holds is lame;....save that shit for the Riverside Quarry.....really disappointed and sad to hear about this. Climbed there last week and saw the bullshit....unfortunate.....

Many new routes have been added there in the recent years. They are the work of Gary Henning who lives in the immediate area. I have never been there, but have heard that many of them have manufactured holds.
