Possibly. And definitely the closest I've seen in regards to a potential avi app. Think I'm going to pre-order one to test it out regardless.

1. Absolutely not,
2. This seems like spam.

2 problems:

1) overall range (high frequency, low power signal)
2) high water content(snow) is not friendly to 2.4GHz signals

Hope they work well Will.
Looking at the "deals" page the numbers don't add up though.
The more you buy, the more you're supposed to save, but you can never save more than buying 4.
Buy 3+1 free = 4 @ 56.85
Buy 6+2 free = 8 @ 113.70
Buy 9+3 free = 12@170.55

Waazup with dat?

No idea Tom. Came across this today and just ordered one to test out.

Tyler, you're probably right. If so I'll put it on my key chain.

I don't like that it is only good for one year then you need to buy a new one.
Interested to hear a review though.

I thought of getting two for my skis, my dynafits don't have brakes. But the range is 50ft? Doesn't seem that promising, as my beacon has a 70m range. also my iPhone stays in my car when skiing as I've found it interferes with my beacon (pieps dsp). Maybe I'll just buy brakes.

Might be a good buy for my bike, as my last one got stolen :(

Heard about this through a SAR guy in lander. NOT an Avi beacon. He said it looks like some resorts may use this ALONG with Avi beacons. Buy a beacon first and foremost. Then Maybe next season it will become clear what this thing is capable of.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
