Road looks pretty good for 1869....almost looks paved in one part.

Ooooold Boulder Canyon Castle Rock pic. I've seen it around over the years and always thought it was cool. Cool thread.

Definitely Storm Mountain Island, although I had to look at several photos to be sure. The other side of the canyon looks farther away because there aren't many trees (I imagine the pioneers had cut them all down for timber by then).
