Im never tired...only after waking up grumpy at 3pm after a night shift. I think all tiredness is in cortisol levels...and you have to hydrate enough. Just my opinion |

I suffer from the same thing and at 37 I don't think it's normal either. I mentioned it to the doctor the other day and he was mildly dimisive about it, so for the momement I'm trying more of a lifestyle change. |

I appreciate every response and will go through the last couple of pages and respond. I haven't been to the doc yet. Get off my back. I'm also thinking it most likely is a thyroid problem but I've been having a couple of other symptoms the past couple days. If I die I'll let you know by not responding. JLP wrote:I'm always stoned. Aerili wrote: I am totally fine with mother earth taking back you and only you. My problem is that when your non-vaccinated ass comes down with tuberculosis, mumps, typhoid, yellow fever, or things like that, you take other people with you. I always have a question for people who bring up claims like this... if you're vaccinated and I'm not vaccinated and I contract some disease that you've been vaccinated for... why would you contract it? Isn't that proof that vaccinations are not beneficial to your health and only put yourself at risk to adverse side affects? Joe Huggins wrote:I was feeling progressively crappier for years. Finally went to the doc; she sent me to the endocrinologist. Turns out I have an autoimmune disease-"polyendocrinopathy", (say it three times, fast). Now, I take drugs to treat it-feel pretty good. Fucking know it all doctors! Thanks for your response! I'm hoping that it is nothing serious and I'm wishing the best to you and thank lord they have those drugs for you; some things just can't be treated without prescriptions. wankel7 wrote: WTF dude...that is an insane amount of caffeine. You have two problems to solve. The being tired one and your unhealthy addiction to caffeine. Just wondering...when you stand up after sitting for a while do you feel light headed? I typically don't drink that much lol. And no, I haven't experienced any light headedness in quite some time. I used to when I was younger and I mentioned it to the doctor and he said it was normal for people my age to do that, something about constricted blood flow from sitting with bent knees and the rush to your head when standing quickly. |

I highly doubt its thyroid do you have other symptoms: wt gain heart palpitations. I am not diagnosing but low thyroid is affecting women past 40 yo who had kids and you are neither. Psychotropics and antidepressants can do wonders when prescribed and taken as directed so do benzos. Your age is when most psych illnesses get diagnosed. Not trying to scare you but go see a doc honestly. Hope its not MS or Lupus but the sooner you get on meds in either case the better off your chances are at going into remission. Best of luck! |

One thing I've noticed with my own body too is that I need to go to bed at a "certain" time. If I go to bed at 10 I feel much better, but if I push it to lets say 10:30 it's harder for me to fall asleep. The key is finding out what time is for you. |

Also my doc recommended no reading (he does it though) or watching TV in bed. The logic behind this is to train your mind and body to know when you go to bed it's for sleeping, and not for chilling. Basically nothing in the bed besides sleep and magic making. The kid is 21 yo! Common! Its a hint if depression I say especially after reading his last post he is too lean to have a sleep apnea. The advice you got is geared towards middle aged group. |

HPV vaccine is a hoax! Do you know how many strands of that virus there are? Its everywhere and mutates constantly. Its your immune system. I saw a show about a man who had warts all over his body caused by HPV because of a genetic immune disease. Btw most cases of positive HPV go away by themselves and cause unnecessary procedures. Cervical cancer can be caused by HPV but im sure there is more than just the virus present. In your case being a male your chances of getting a cervical cancer are next to nill |

AJS wrote: Not sure where you got that information, but wikipedia seems to think the opposite: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HPV_v… As to your question about vaccines: A lot of the things we get vaccinated for affect children much more strongly than adults (often leading to death). A good example is whooping cough (pertusis). If you get that as an adult, it's not horrible, but if a child gets it then it's bad news. And, that leads to the problem with not getting vaccinated yourself -- if you have it, it's no big deal, but you could easily pass it on to a child who isn't vaccinated yet. I'm all for not taking lots of drugs that affect the central nervous system -- you mentioned for example, Xanex and Prozac -- but really vaccines definitely fall into the 'some things can't be treated without prescriptions' category. I think with a bit more research you'd agree. Cheers. http://sanevax.org/vaers-hpv-vaccine-adverse-injury-reports-through-february-13-2012/ |

Get off the caffeine, yes. But from personal experience, I'd advise a very gradual taper. |

I did a cold turkey from a regular, daily level of caffeine slightly larger than your 7 cups + 5hr. Raging headaches, all over bodyache, nausea, sweating...kinda like the flu but worse and without stomach issues. 3 days of this, laying on the couch, miserable and unable to function. Quitting caffeine was the best decision I ever made from a health/diet standpoint. I immediately slept better than ever before, wake up feeling refreshed, etc. Also, try to keep a regular sleep schedule. After too many years of college, grad school etc, I was used to going out on weekends, staying up way later than the weekdays, then sleeping in. Sounds brutal man! Yeah my caffeine intake isn't typically that high but I'd say 2-3 cups has become a good daily average. I'm trying to taper off and some days I don't even need it. I appreciate your response, take it easy. |
