I promise this isn't a troll

I read two posts today that both started with disclaimers towards trolling.

One Started "I promise this isn't a troll"
the second one started "this is gonna sound like a troll but I assure you it's not."

Just thought it was funny that people have to put disclaimers because of the response and reactions that happen in here sometimes.

So now I must put my disclaimer for posting this, I swear this was not intended to be a troll!

I promise this isn't an indignant response.

I merely pointed out that two threads today started with that, and they were actually good posts, I saw this coming, it's quite amusing how MP readers react.

I used to get most of my climbing information from RC.com, which is pretty much trolls trolling trolls about whether they are trolling or not - since I was basically bashing the climbing in an entire area, I figured I'd be proactive before someone accused me of just trying to stir up crap, especially given that I have a grand total of about five posts on MP.

I don't mean to be a troll, but would you all STFU?

Haha, I know Mark, it's true, I am good at many things but grammar and writing is not one of them. In College I graduated with all A's and B's, except for 1 D on my entire transcript, It was in creative writing, probably not because I wasn't creative, but because I just never gave writing and grammar a chance. I was too busy wrestling pebbles at the tropics. :-)
