I'd love to climb it and shoot it. Either way I'd love to join.

Hey, look, a 13 page thread that isn't about politics.

I am pirating this thread.

I am looking for vedauwoo partner for saturday or sunday(preferably sunday) this weekend.

I have the requisite mental deficiencies to enjoy climbing offwidths and the right gear. I lead 5.9+( vedauwoo ratings)

send me a PM back if interested.

chris

there's a fully valid offwidth at the quarry wall and several other crack climbs to spread out on.

Looks very cool. Maybe week after next? August 4.

Maybe Hand Crack & Stone Love in the Flatirons next Tuesday? July 28.

One reason for that sequence is to do the longer outing first while the days are longer, and the shorter trip a bit later...

EDIT: Is it still too hot to hit Golden in the afternoon? Maybe push that one back several weeks?

I'm excited to hit the flatirons. Stone love sounds amazing. I'm in for that next week.

I think Get Smart at Upper Security Risk still has potential, but I need someone who is game to go check it out before we bring the whole group. Anyone want to run up there soon? There are plenty of other worthy pitches there as well.

I have some time to kill Friday afternoon before DH beer. I could run up there and check it out, take some pics, see whatelse may be available and post back here. Lemme know if you guys want me to do that.

Pretty sure that all of the Blob rock area closures have been lifted for awhile now. Check with the signage at the base first, of course.

We were standing in catnip at one point. Maybe that is why Shawn started stripping.

Hey, what happens at Bumbling Stock stays at Bumbling Stock! :)

Horse, it looked an *awful* lot like PI.

Darren, That stuff I showed you that was Hopps, was Hopps, the Catnip, it was catnip, and the PI... well, it was PI. The only good look-alike is an immature Box Elder, and it was not Box Elder in this case.
As for your luck, still be careful! The reaction to P.I. can be somethng that is built over time. THe people that claim to be immune simply LACK the immune response to it... and the body learns with repeated exposure. I used to pull it with bear hands from my grandma's garden. I get it now though. Don't play your get-out-of-jail-free cards too lightly!

Never had PI reaction before... I will just pretend I am not allergic to PI until I actually get reaction. This was probably as good as test can get, with all that rubbing and touching blindly.

I picked up some tecnu on my way home at walgreens. It's on sale so if you need any it, now is the time. I washed my clothes with it and used it on the legs. No issues so far so hopefully we all got lucky.

Jay, don't forget about the gloves you let me wear. They touched the rope that touched the PI.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
