Does your gym allow you to take your shirt off?

If you've seen me in the gym, within the past decade, with my shirt off, or recently climbing 5.12 anything, it was in one of your drug-induced fantasies.

Nice troll, anyway.

I noticed that your profile is devoted to me. That's impressive. I've never had a stalker before.

BTW, nice name. It suits you.

Don't tell anyone, but our dog goes shirtless at the crags quite frequently. Frankly, I get sick of it; but she's so cute.

Even though at times I wish I was the type to take it off. Mainly because i've got some cool ink that goes unappreciated. I'd feel like a pretty big dumbass without my shirt. I guess if you're feel like rock'n a shirt do it if you don't then don't....It really should apply to the ladies too ;). Although that might not be so functional.

Those darn shirtless climbers! What are they thinking?? I have never, EVER, climbed without wearing a shirt. Let's get real, people.

I climb with my shirt on 97% of the time. I can think of one time in the past four months that I have taken it off and, man, it felt good when I did mainly because it was HOT that day and my partner and I were doing cardio continuous climbing.

I manage a gym in Manchester NH (Vertical Dreams) we say keep the shirts on... i feel like guys only take there shirts off to show off... The families that come here are just as important to our business as the tough guys so we need to have a family environment... so, it seems screaming in the middle of the crux is another way to show ones toughness and scare away families cause i see that a lot too...

If your shirts off, I say you should have pasties on. Have some decency people.

Oh, now it's on.....No grunting!

We've established that to some people going shirtless might be offensive, but I want to hear a rational reason to ban it besides other people's insecurities. What will be banned next?!?!?!?

For what it's worth, I changed my avatar in sympathy. From the front, I actually appear to be wearing a shirt. It's OK at the pool, its OK at the beach. Its OK with me.

A family friend's 4 or 5 year old kid once plopped down on my lap up to me and said "You look like a monkey, you should get some tape and pull that off. No woman is ever going to marry you." It was the day after my wedding celebration and I had a tuft sticking out the top of a tank-top after playing frisbee outside.

It wasn't half as bad as the other day at the zoo, when a monkey swung over to me and pointed as if to say "Well, I'm stuck in here... So why are they letting YOU walk around loose?"

Only one of those stories is true... Oh well.
