Description Suggest change

A secluded area in the creek bed underneath the main Hurricane climbing, but accessed from highway 7 and not 123. Contains some of the best under the radar bouldering in the state. I do not know of many problems here, but the ones I do know are all time classics. There is no trail to the boulders but they aren't difficult to find. Expect bushwhacking, rock hopping, and lots of scrubbing, as these boulders tend to moss over very quickly and are not often trafficked.

This is not a place for you and your bros to come speed down the roads and blast music, leave that at horseshoe. Tread lightly and leave it cleaner than you found it. People live down here and use the area for hunting and hiking as well so be respectful.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Who Da Thought It on highway 7, turn west onto Hurricane Trail. Take a right on the fork just after the store, heading downhill. At the bottom of the hollow, take a left at a fork, crossing a rocky stream. Follow the road all the way down past a low water bridge (which marks the beginning of national forest land). Park on the right, just before the first turn after the bridge. AWD is required to drive past this point, where many people approach Buzzsaw. Hike off into the woods to the right, following the creek and you will find the boulders
