Description Suggest change

A granite boulder at the base of Mt Miner.  I searched this area during the 2020 lockdowns and this is the only thing I found worth climbing.  It has 4 fun problems that I've been keeping scrubbed clean. The cracks sometimes seep and can take a while to dry out since it gets a lot of runoff from the mountain.  The landings are sloped, so be careful not to roll into any rocks if you fall.  Also a lot of debris tends to land on top.  I try to blow the leaves out once in a while to keep the topout and landings a little safer.  There is a downclimb to the right with a few good jugs and feet.

Getting There Suggest change

10 minute approach, about 1/4 mile. Park at the top of Dartmouth Dr in Auburn at the concrete barricades. Walk around the barricades up the road a few hundred feet. Find the trail on the left between the end of the guardrail and the beginning of the rock face. Take this trail uphill only for about 50 feet, then take a left onto another trail which leads west all the way down the hill. At the bottom of the hill there is a rocky drainage area and a small drainage pond. Just past the pond to the right there will be a short steep drop that leads down to an unmaintained dirt road. Follow this dirt road northwest for a few hundred feet until you see a trail on the right that leads northeast. Take this trail to the base of the boulder.  The trails are not always obvious, but I try to blow the leaves off once in a while.
