Description

North facing wall, so lots of shade. All routes are equipped with glued bolts. In principle, a 60 m rope and 12 quickdraws are sufficient to climb all these routes safely. The belay stations take one of the two forms below.

WARNING: As with any rock massif, but especially here since it is newly developed and still in progress, rock blocks may be loose, and rockfall can occur. Wearing a helmet is therefore highly recommended. Every climber must personally check the stability of the available holds.

Who can climb?

•Members of KBF, CAB, and UBS (with their membership card)

•Members of a UIAA-affiliated federation or club

•Members of NKBV and FROS-NVSF Natuurvrienden Bergstijgers, with both their membership card and a climbing year card

•Groups and individuals with a written confirmation issued by KBF

The “Carrière de Gawday,” where the Maizeret climbing massif is located, is situated in the municipality of Andenne, along Rue de Gawday, near house number 35. Approach of less than 5 minutes to the crag.
