Description

Stony Brook Reservation is managed by the DCR in the Roslindale/West Roxbury/Hyde Park area. It's much less used by neighboring suburban citizenry than the Arboretum probably because there aren't any really great places to park, but it's a real gem! Throughout, there are great hiking and biking trails, a web of paved and animal trails, rocky outcroppings, standalone boulders, a pond, etc.

Getting There

There are a few green gate entrances along the Enneking Parkway, one on Washington St across from 4907 Washington St., and a small pull off at a gate on the Dedham Parkway close to the 4-way stop at Enneking/Dedham/Turtle Pond parkways. Be careful when parking on the side of any of these very busy roads.
