Description Suggest change

Directly due South of Sky Blue Lake is a series of walls, towers, and spires. Sky Blue Spire is the southernmost (leftmost as you're walking up Miter Basin) of these formations. It is easily identified as the sharpest summit among the formations.

Descent: Scramble down the summit towers at 4th class, aiming for the saddle due North to the next formation of the Sky Blue Towers.  From here, continue scrambling towards the West (towards Primrose Lake).  We did one 35 meter rappel in this section to the walkoff on easy talus.  Depending on your comfort level, you may consider another rappel.  An easy walk around the formation leads back to the base if you left anything there.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach via either Cottonwood Pass, New/Old Army Pass, or Arc Pass.
