Description
This sunny crag is great for cooler weather, as the middle section is exposed to sunlight. The left and right sides are a bit shadier due to the leaves on the trees (unless there aren't leaves).
The long crag hosts nearly 60 routes up to 15m tall and ranging in difficulty from ultra easy kiddie routes to 5.13 (there's only one and it has modified/artificial holds - but it's the only route here like this). The rock is conglomerate, so you're mostly pulling on either round stones or their vacant pocket in the matrix. I say mostly, because there are a couple of sandstone bands in the rock which add some character to the climbing.
Getting There
The crag is situated within spitting distance of the town of Seltmans, which is located off the B12 W-SW of Kempten and just West of Weitnau. You need a car or bike to get there. Once you drop down off the B12 to Seltmans, immediately head right down a cul-de-sac. As you pass the houses and industry, you'll reach the end of the town and the beginning of the bike-only path ahead of you. Park next to the road and don't go over the bridge, but you can park near it, provided you don't block it. The approach is 1 minute and doesn't warrant a description.
