Description
Not far from Melbourne, Camel's Hump in the Macedon mountain range offers a good amount of sport climbing, trad climbing, and bouldering at a variety of sun angles. The mountains are remnants of an ancient volcano, and the rock is volcanic and heaily featured with sharp pinches, crimps, and pockets. With it being so close to the city, and often a bit cooler, the area sees a lot of traffic over the weekends with climbers, university groups, and hikers
