Access Issue: Climbing Regulations/Seasonal Raptor Closures Details

The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Description

The climb is located on the west side of the boulder, on top of a prominent cluster.

Getting There

At the end of the Lost horse road, there is a parking area. From the parking area go north maybe 200 yards. There is a small trail and a good sized cluster of boulders on the right side. Boulder is located in the middle of the nearest cluster, resting on top of the formation.
