Description

The Lost Horse Area covers problems along the Lost Horse Road and includes Blas Beemer Boulder, Cheese Boulder, Hemingway Boulders etc. as well as the large open area to the southwest of it with the extensive Jimmy Cliff Area.

Depending on which area you choose it may be easier to approach from the Lost Horse Road or the parking area at Real Hidden Valley. Approaches vary from 5-20 minutes with easy walking on level ground the norm.

Getting There

The turn-off to the Lost Horse Road is 7.5 miles from the West Entrance and 1.3 miles from Hidden Valley Campground. See the sub-areas for more detailed approach information.
