Description
A wide, just steeper than vertical wall. 12-15 feet at the tallest. This boulder is named in honor of the family of bears we saw the morning we first went to clean off this boulder. There was a momma and three cubs. This boulder has a distinctive smaller boulder sitting on top of it.
This is still a fresh boulder so there may be fragile edges, moss on holds or feet that hasn't been cleaned yet, etc. Please be careful! All the grades are just my guess and need some other people to give their opinion.
Some of the Forest pioneers like Brendan Condron and Matt Behrens first did the 'Bear Grylls' line in the middle of the boulder sometime around 2011 but none of the others were climbed since then. There are more lines to be done on this boulder, go ahead and try them!
