Description

This is the easiest wall to access at Cape Clear. There are four good routes on the Headwall, two are fully bolted and two are mixed. As usual for this area be careful of what you pull on and this area should be treated like alpine or back country climbing.

Getting There

From the parking area follow the very rough jeep road for about 400 meters until you reach the Cape Clear lookout which is where the routes top out. The best way to get to the bottom of the wall is to take the descent trail to the south west (skiers right). This Trail is marked with orange flagging tape. Approach time via the trail is less than 10 minutes. You could also rappel in using the Coyote Ugly rap anchor.
