Description

Free-standing, potato-like boulder sitting to the right of the "trail" below the mountain as you walk towards the Wave Crack area. Obvious crack feature in the middle facing East. Some fun slabs and a rather burly traverse.

Head straight south towards the mountain from the 16th St parking. Before you hit the base of the mountain, Butte Boulder is just about 20-30 feet to your right. You'll see the obvious crack feature facing you.
