Description

This area is recognizable by the cool friction slab that can be seen from the road. Getting to it is from the road is difficult due to thick briers. Just above this tall slab is one of the most classic hard slab boulders in the canyon. Well worth the effort.

Getting There

Park in the gravel pull off and hike up logging roads. Take the second logging road to the right and stay right at the Y. Look for a path off to the right after the Y and turn right again. You will be just above the boulder.
