Afternoon sun in the summer months. Great views of Lake Wakatipu.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Remarkables ski field car park. Follow the Shadow Basin Track to the top of the Shadow Basin chair lift (45 minutes). Go to the Shadow Basin Saddle. Here you should get a good view of Lake Wakatipu and be on the opposite side of the Remarkables from Lake Alta. There is an obvious trail.
