From CDOT: Colorado Highway 7 is closed daily from MP 23-29.5. Motorists can only travel through the area between 6-8 am and 4-7 pm. During these timeframes, pilot cars will lead alternating one-way travel. Drivers should plan for delays, and this schedule will remain in place through Memorial Day 2022.
During the closure, motorists need to take US 36 to CO 7.

Description
The Elysium is a hidden paradise just off the road. These are a few granite boulders described by Bob Horan in “Bouldering Colorado”.
Getting There
From the intersection of CO 7 and US 36 in Lyons, drive west about 7 miles. There used to be a big parking lot, but it seems to have disappeared. There is some parking just off the road on the right side. Across the creek to the southeast, you can see a granite dome, and below it is the fall line of boulders. Find a way across the creek, and the boulders are mostly hidden in the trees just up the hill a bit. 5-10 minute approach.
