Description Suggest change

Perhaps the most standout feature on the entire hillside, this inspiring yet terrifying overhang offers three absolute king lines. The center line, Walk Two Moons, might be the most incredible highball currently on the Front Range. Although the wall itself receives afternoon shade, the boulder and hillside bake in the sun all day, making this a great winter spot.

Getting There Suggest change

From the Floyd Hill Open Space parking lot, walk immediately right along the wooden fence which separates the hill and the building. As the fence ends, pick up an ancient service road grade which slowly climbs east up the hill. Pass an old gate along the road, and continue to follow it as it bends around the hillside. Soon enough, the road will pass directly under Moonrise. It’s obvious. Leave the road, and bushwhack up the hill for a bit to arrive at the base. The total approach time is 20-30 minutes.
