Description Suggest change

Witches Point hosts various challenging limestone sport climbs and is an ideal summer destination with shade until 4 PM in the summer months.

Witches Point contains the following crags:

  • Stone Wings
  • Dunraven Cliff
  • Black Zawn
  • Folded Walls
  • Witches Cave

Tidal Considerations:

The majority of the Witches Point area is rarely affected by the tide and is generally accessible for approximately 4 hours on either side of high tide. Note that accessible times are reduced as you approach Witches Tip (seaward), which is only accessible for approximately 1-2 hours on either side of high tide. Please inform the staff in the small shop in the car park if you intend to climb during high tide; the staff will inform the coastguard if anyone gets stranded on the point.

See the South Wales Climbing Wiki for detailed area and route descriptions of the Witches Point area: swcw.org.uk/wiki/Category:W…
