Description Suggest change

Goat Rock is a collection of mini-cliffs (6-20+ feet high) and a handful of boulders. The area has been recently cleaned out, and new routes are being documented. There are more mini-cliffs and boulders along the side of the hill that can be developed in the future. Note: the trails are closed at dusk, so there is no nighttime climbing. The area borders private property, so please be respectful and relatively quiet.

Getting There Suggest change

The location is: 99-89 Country Club Dr, Hampden, MA 01036.

Park in the circle at the end of the road. From the road, start along the trailhead (marked by the map kiosk). About 20 feet in, take the first right turn up the hill. Walk up the hill about 1000 feet, and the first boulder and wall will be on the right. Continue up the hill another 500 feet, and you will reach the top of Goat Rock (marked by a small plaque). Continue down the hill a little bit further, and there will be another wall and 2 boulders on the right.
