Equinox Face Rock Climbing

From the clearing near the former ranger cabin, the main trail continues straight and a faint trail branches left through the grass. Follow the faint trail (which improves significantly) for 10 min past a switchback to gain the crest of a ridge. Continue up the ridge to the left end of a brown wall known as the Sidewalk Café. The trail bears left along the base of the cliff, up a rock step to its end at the Equinox Face.

The trail splits just before it reaches the Equinox Face. It's tempting to take the left fork to reach the Main Face, but this trail quickly fades (just below the Planet Terror Face), and it's too high on the mountain.
