Description
Mount Turnweather is a massive rock which soars out of the Turnweather Glacier. The North and Northeast faces are legit gnarly big walls, with routes at around 800m-1100m in length.
Getting There
From Pangnirtung, travel 30km north up the fiord to the mouth of the Weasel river. Either use packrafts or contact a local outfitter to help with this. It's important to land on the east side of the fiord - it is not possible to cross the Weasel river without your own boat. From here, (beneath Overlord Mountain) hike north for approx 6km on flat sandy terrain, and then east for approx 9km along moraines and glacier to reach the base of the wall.
