Description Suggest change

The Slab comprises of the Wilson Trail Campsite boulders and the first main boulder outcrop at the start of Wilson Trail. This area is on the flat plateau before the climb towards Wilson Peak. A fairly large spread out area but one of a high concentration of climbs and a lot more traffic due to the short hike and lack of elevation gain.

Getting There Suggest change

As you leave Ranchita on the S22 turn right on to Jasper Trail, just past the Anza Borrego Desert State Park sign. Follow Jasper Trail till you hit a four way cross then turn left heading east on to Old Culp Valley Road. You will see the the Wilson Trail campsite area first, the parking for the trailhead about 400 yards from the campsite.
