Description
The hillside largely referred to as Pinneo Brook was one of the first bouldering areas in Bolton, long known for the area classic Generations. For quite some time, information was limited at the request of the landowners. As of 2024, the new landowners have permitted information to be shared online. This zone encompasses all the boulders that are accessed from the new parking lot for the mountain biking area known as The Driving Range, which CRAG-VT helped fund to provide secure access for Pinneo Brook.
This zone could be roughly broken up into three sections. The first are the boulders that sit alongside Pinneo Brook itself, most notably the Oak Boulder, Colonel Troutman, and the Kanga cluster. The second would be the boulders alongside Beaver Brook with the especially excellent Five Star Traverse. The third would be those on the broad hillside above these areas, such as the boulders at the Revolution Wall.
