Description
A great view of the Columbia river and a nice sunny exposure, this entablature layer is very solid for Vantage and ranges from 30 to 45 feet in height. Lots of moderate, well-protected climbs generally in the range 10a-11b. Be mindful of sending rocks down, as of recently there are a couple routes below Riverview Park.
Getting There
From the lower lot, take the jeep road and then the trail breaking left and uphill until it flattens out and heads below the cliffs. Continue until you reach the crag; if you make a steep switchback uphill to the Shattered and Riverview Columns, you have just passed the right end of Riverview Park.
From the standard lot, hike south up over the Mesa, and take the right turn instead of heading towards the first gully. Continue hiking west on top of the Mesa to the third gully down. Keep heading west past the Riverview Columns to an obvious left turn that switchbacks downhill through a short, wide gully. This will put you between Riverview Park on climber's left and Corn Wall on the right.
