Start up small pedestal to first bolt. Follow direct line up bolts to make more challenging.

Stiff for the grade. First bolt is 15-20 feet high and even though you can get closer on a large boulder, the only way to reach the bolt if you’re short is to move a foot off of the large boulder and hold onto small non-positive holds. For this reason, a stick clip highly recommended. If you’re 6’ 4” you can hold a jug on the 5.4 to clip the bolt. There isn’t a 5.8 hold until the 3rd bolt. The whole route is made up of tiny holds facing in awkward positions. I thought it was hard whether you are on the bolt line or off of it. Not a good beginner climb (required technique and route finding knowledge), not a good warm-up or cool down (the 10b next to it is better for that.) Route doesn’t have much chalk. As difficult to down climb as the 5.11a/5.10d Resting Effort Emptiness. Apr 23, 2018
