Description Suggest change

Why do I think someone has climbed this? ! If not by a highly technical route, then maybe along the ridgeline from Mt Helen?!

Technically, the pillar is the end of the northwest ridge of Mt Helen.

Getting There Suggest change

From the map, the base would be about a 1 km (0.6-0.7 mile) bushwhack from the Dawson Pass Trail. The trail departure-point would be about 3.5 miles from the parking at lower 2-Med Lake, or about a mile from the upper boat dock.

One could also approach from No Name Lake, or perhaps by taking the crest of the northwest ridge of Mt Helen (?) although there is at least one serious "gun-site notch with gendarme" along the ridge. (see photo in No Name Lake sub-area)
